Men of War: Vietnam, is it possible to highlight the character with some colors?
I have downloaded Men of War: Vietnam, and now I am playing it. Everything in this game is just fine, but I face little problem when I want to see the selected units, especially during the fighting situation, where I have to change the camera angle or send the men to cover and hunt for enemies. That is not so difficult to do, but it would be better if there would be better if I could highlight the chosen characters with various colors. So, if it is possible, and you know, how I can do that, then please tell me.

I will also like to know if there is anything like this so that we can highlight the characters with various colors, because it will make us to identify them more easily. But, I have not got to see anything like this in this game, but if this is really possible, then please share with us.

No, friends, As far as I know, we cannot do this in Men of War: Vietnam. But, I also agree that it would be better if it was possible in this game. But, unfortunately, it is really not possible, I think so.

I think it is possible to highlight them with various colors, and there should be a way to do this, because I have seen that in a video but I don’t know exactly how to do that. But, I hope someone here knows about that.

Yes, of course there is an option to do this in Men of War: Vietnam. I have done that many times in Men of War: Vietnam. Initially I was also not aware of it but one day I was just checking each tools and options in this game then suddenly I found this. You can do this by clicking on the ‘show outline’ button on the screen. I think this is what you wanted to know.

Thanks for sharing this with us, but I have to say that the solution you provided is bit incomplete, because I am not able to search that button just by knowing its name. I tried checking almost all the buttons but none of them were labeled as ‘show outline’. Therefore it would be good if you could provide little more detailed solution to us. I mean the exact location of that button, or something which makes us to find that easily.

You want to highlight the characters in Men of War: Vietnam with some colors. I have did that many time. It is really very simple to do. In the bottom left corner you can see five icons in vertical row. Click on the last, bottom most, icon. I think that is what everyone of you is looking for. I think that will help you for doing what you wanted to do.

Thanks for this detailed solution, but that is not what we were looking for, because that is for when you have not selected the characters. When we select the characters then the colors don’t appear. We want selected characters to be highlighted with different colors to be identified clearly and easily that they are selected. If you really know about that, then please share that with us.

I suggested you exactly what you wanted to know. I know you want to color up highlighted characters to make them more clearly identifiable when they are being selected. That icon is for that only. Just click twice on the rectangle unit icon, which you can see on the left most side on your screen, so that your screen center on the unit that you want to select. I think then you will be able to spot your unit. I hope this solution proves to be helpful for you and if you are still not able to do that then reply again with the difficulty you are getting to that.
