Leonidas Fedora 11 will be available in May

After Ubuntu, Fedora place. This other distribution success is the testing ground for Red Hat, which can put all the latest components. Fedora distribution is appreciated by those who like to play on the edge of technology, while others prefer calmer distributions. But fans will be pleased to know that version 11 is scheduled for May, and it bears the name Leonidas.

- The kernel 2.6.28
- A startup time 20 seconds faster extinction
- DeviceKit, which must replace part of the hardware abstraction layer and provide new opportunities for hardware management
- DNSSEC to include mechanisms for reliability and integration for the DNS data
- A simplified use of fingerprint readers
- KDE 4.2, including KOffice 2
- Multiseat, which allows easily use the same system for multiple monitors, keyboards, etc..
- Presto, a plug-in that allows YUM download deltarpms and use it to create new packages
- Python 2.6
- TightVNC, new vncviewer default Fedora
- VolumeControl, to make the adjustment of its most simple and intuitive
- A compiler for creating software to the Windows platform
