Can not find Biometric Control Panel Applet in Windows 7
I have bought new Dell Precision M2400. Fingerprint Reader is already present there in my notebook. I am currently using the windows 7 operating system. I think all the drivers are installed correctly to run Fringerprint Swipe Sensor. Before this it was possible to Enable BitLocker Drive Encyrption but i think it can not find Biometric Control Panel Applet.

As you said, you are using the Windows 7 Operating System. I think there are no drivers to install presented in windows 7. Still check for any updates about such drivers from the dealer from where you have purchased this notebook. Try installing the driver from another operating system like say windows xp or vista. If it solves your problem then your luck is working.

In Dell Precision M2400 if you are using a windows 7. Then there will be all drivers present. Most of the time problem arrives that is your device compatible with the particular driver? So if this has became case with you then uninstall the drivers using the Device Manager and then again reinstall them from the Windows 7 Compatibility Mode options.

Whenever you reinstall the drivers for any windows then never forget to reboot your computer. Because it happens may time that the drivers you have installed are not applied until you reboot the system. And installing drivers for windows 7 have became quite difficult task. Another option is there for you is reinstalling the Operating System again. And while installing the driver see to that you install that driver first which you want at first priority then install other drivers.
