Enable Fast Printing in Internet Explorer
Hi,
I am using internet explorer 7 for net surfing. There is some problem in the browser. When I give the print command the print comes out very slowly. How can I enable fast printing in Internet Explorer. Then the small animate icon at the top right does shows up. How can I restore it back. I also want to re-size my cache file size in order to increase the surfing speed. Thanks in advance.

The problem can be due to malware attack. Scan you system thoroughly under safe mode. Manually delete all the detection and ensure that nothing is left. Here to enable the fast printing in Internet Explorer you will have to disable the photo's in it. By this solution only text will be printed. To do this open notepad and copy paste the below text. Save the file and type name FastPrint.css. Then save it somewhere in your windows drive. Now open Internet Explorer go to Tools > Internet Option > General > Accessibility. Then browse the file saved FastPrint.css. Give ok and restart your system.
Code:
IMG { display: none !important;} /* Don't display images */
/* "!important;" overrides web page css file */

You can increase the cache file size to speed up your internet performance. To do this Click on Start Menu > Control Panel. Exit Internet Explorer and Outlook Express. Then click on Internet Option. In the first option General go to Settings in the browsing history. Set the size to 50Mb. Then click ok. Always clear your offline and temp file regularly. Because many time they contain virus.

The animated log at the top right corner gets disable by some unwanted access or viruses. The viruses alters the windows registry and then your system behaves unexpected. By a very simple process you can restore it back. To do this you will have to edit widows registry key. Make sure you are log in as a administrator. Go to Start Menu > Run > Type regedit > Enter or OK. Then navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar. In this at the right side delete the string value of BrandBitmap and SmBrandBitmap. Exit registry editor and restart your system.
