How to set up an hotmail account with the G1
Hi
I would like to set up an hotmail account with G1.have nay one done before? Since hotmail is my primary email account and I am not interested to pay "plus package" money to get a free email account. any help would be really appreciated..

so any thoughts guys?

hello
friend as far as my knowledge g1 doesn't support the http/web service of the hotmail/msn live.
and i know in order to get the imap/pop support and facility you must need open a premium account which will enable you that sort of services..

People says the email application on the G1 did not running normally.
I think the best idea stay away from G1 phone, if they don't want to make it more compatible with hotmail, or outlooks.try the hotmail plus service or if your interested just try the pop3.live.com settings also...

My old hotmail account let me allow to look my emails with outlook at the same time new account can't fails do it.so i would say it will depends So, if your account is old enough. I assume you can just configure it on applications>email, and put your all information there email. better use the browser and login into hotmail ...
