Internet connetion slow between Two LAN
2 wireless lans each with it's own internet connection.
Each lan is setup with a different subnet 192.168.x.x
I want to Put a Client radio at Lan 1 , have it connect to lan 2's AP so the members from each lan can access Apache and other servers across this new link.
Sure we can do it over the net but the connection has a DL cap and the upload is slow. I know I can make the wireless link it's the configuration and equipment I need that will make it work.
I have not yet dabbed in layer 2 or 3 setups.
Thanks for any help

First, try these steps:
Open Network Diagnostics by right-clicking the network icon in the notification area, and then clicking Diagnose and repair.
Make sure that all wires are connected (for example, make sure your modem is connected to a working phone jack or cable connection, either directly or through a router).
If you're trying to connect to another computer, make sure that computer is on and that you have enabled file and printer sharing on your network. For more information, see Networking home computers running different versions of Windows.
If the problem began after you installed new software, check your connection settings to see if they have been changed.
Open Network Connections by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Network and Internet, clicking Network and Sharing Center, and then clicking Manage network connections.
Right-click the connection, and then click Properties. Administrator permission required If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
Check your router. Because of the new networking features in Windows Vista, some older network routers are not fully compatible with Windows Vista and can cause problems. You can test your router to see whether it is fully compatible with Windows Vista by running the Internet Connectivity Evaluation Tool. Or, for a list of routers that are compatible with Windows Vista, go to the Windows Vista Hardware Compatibility List website.

Re: Internet connetion slow between Two LAN
In the command prompt, I am able to ping the desktop using it's name as well as it's IP Address. But when I use net view command i am getting an error message SYSTEM ERROR 53 has occurred. The network path is not found. Any help with this...?

Re: Internet connetion slow between Two LAN
you need a protocol like Multilink PPP which can bundle 2 connections. However in case of multilink PPP you need both connections to the same ISP cause the other end of the link should also support bundling of channels/links
You can theoretically get max bandwidth but for separate sessions by creating a manual route to force connection using the 2nd ISP for the second download but doing this for even such session is too cumbersome to be practical.
