Re: Internet explorer crashing, how to Troubleshoot
If you are having issues with Internet Explorer running extremely slow, crashing, locking up, to resolve this issue go to Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools, and then click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons). If your browser appears to be working properly in Internet Explorer mode, continue with the following steps to help identify which add-on may be causing the problems. If you’ve used Internet Explorer’s (No Add-ons) mode and are still experiencing issues, try our KB Article, How to perform common troubleshooting steps for Internet Explorer 7 Beta.

Close all but one Internet Explorer window. Restore defaults for advanced Internet options by opening the Tools menu, Internet Options, go to Advanced tab, and clicking the Restore Defaults button. Close the "safe mode" IE window, and then open Internet Explorer normally. Click on the Tools menu, then Manage Add-ons, and then Enable or Disable Add-ons, you can select Add-ons and then choose to Disable them one by one using the radio button at the bottom. Not all programs will have the option to delete, if this add-on is a toolbar, toolbars and many other add-ons are usually deleted through the Add/Remove programs.

The following is a list of known incompatible toolbars that can cause crashes or hangs in IE.
RoboForm Toolbar
Cooxie Toolbar
Diodia Download Toolbar 2.4.01
To trim the list in the User-Agent header, click START > RUN > REGEDIT.EXE. Using RegEdit, navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\5.0\User Agent\Post Platform
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\User Agent\Post Platform
You can also take the help from the Microsoft site where they will provide you the online Troubleshooter for download check here.
