Internet Explorer without add-ons
Hey Everyone,
Whenever i boot up mu system i get an error message poping up on my desktop screen stating that "Internet Explorer is currently running without add-ons". All Internet Explorer add-ons, such as ActiveX controls or toolbars, are turned off. It says check for latest Windows updates. But it doesn't show any latest Windows updates on my system. Can any body tell me how do i enabled Internet Explorer add-ons? Does any one have any idea how do i get rid of this problem. Any kind of information on this would be appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Internet Explorer without add-ons
To re-enable an add-on
1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, and then clicking Internet Explorer.
2. Click the Tools button, click Manage Add-ons, and then click Enable or Disable Add-ons.
3. In the Show list, click Add-ons that have been used by Internet Explorer to display all add-ons.
4. Click the add-on you want to enable, and then click Enable.
5. Repeat step 4 for every add-on you want to enable. When you are finished, click OK.

Re: Internet Explorer without add-ons
Here’s how you can disable all addons/extensions and run IE 7 or even IE 8 without them:
Go to Start --> Run
Type iexplore -extoff
Press Enter
Internet Explorer will now run without any additional functionality from addons.

Re: Internet Explorer without add-ons
Some Internet Explorer add-ons, such as the Flash player, have become ubiquitous, and you're likely to get them just by browsing. Others, such as ieSpell, which spell-checks your text input, need to be downloaded specifically.
But add-ons can cause trouble or crashes, so Microsoft has provided a simple way to browse without them. Right-click on the IE shortcut icon and select the Start without add-ons option. You can also manage which add-ons are enabled, in Tools--> Manage Add-ons, after you've started IE7.
