Join multiple domains via a virtual machine (VMWare)
Hello,
I find myself with 2 very different physical networks (NetBIOS) and I can access through a single machine (which would, therefore, necessarily, 2 network cards). My idea was to have a first connected XP to 1 via a map field and a second virtual XP (host of the first) on the 2nd network ... using the other NIC.
So, is this possible or I completely wrong?
Thank you in advance for your answers!

It is quite feasible. And your idea would work as well if you had only one network card.

It's all good then.
Finally, I have a doubt: my 2 networks are physically separate (different cables). That's why I need 2 cards. The VM can use a network without the host cares?

No, there is no disruption even if there is only one network card.
It holds a bit of bandwidth to the VMWARE machine and it works like clockwork.
VmWare is that does all the dirty work so no worry, it will work.
