Mass Effect 3 Crashing while playing Eden Prime
Hello I have installed the game on windows XP system and last night while on Eden Prime mine game crashing to desktop continuously every time when viewing the Prothean recording "stasis activation signal”. When cut scene ends game crashes to desktop. I have installed the 40MB patch but after that also I am getting the same issue. Please can anyone suggest me how to solve this issue? Thanks in advance…

Go through the below steps and after that let me know:

* First of all install Adobe AIR if you not installed yet.
* Now once you finished installing Adobe AIR and after that go to Mass Effect 2 binaries subdirectory and open EACore_App.ini
* Make sure paths to activation.exe are correct.
* Run EACoreServer.exe from the binaries directory, and then try launching the game again. I have tried this and this has been solved mine issue.

Hello I have tried the above steps but when I launch the game I have got the Direct X Error and now I am not able to play this game. I have tried the lots of steps to solve this issue but nothing helped me to solve mine issue. Please can anyone suggest me how to solve this issue? Thanks in advance...

Ok to steps to fix this Direct X Error you need to go through the below steps:
Go to C: Program Files (x86) Origin GamesMass Effect 3__Installerdirectxredist
Now here
Delete all the contents of the folder except for the following files:
DSETUP.dll
dsetup32.dll
DXSETUP.exe
Now try to launch game again.

To easily solve this crashing issue go to the C:/Program Files (x86)/Origin Games/Mass Effect 3/Binaries and run the Config tool to adjust Mass Effect 3 resolution. If this doesn’t work then go to the nVidia Control Panel > 3D parameters > Global parameters then check your favorite graphic process and choose “High-performance NVidia Processor”. Once you done save the setting and after that let me know the issue.

I got this instruction from official Origin site and I would like to suggest you to go through the below steps:

1. First of all make sure Origin and your game are not running.
2. Download these file here: click here to download EACore.dll and click here to download awc.dll .
3. Unzip or extract the contents to your desktop.
4. Once you finish downloading navigate to the binaries\core folder:
5. Mass Effect 3 default is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Mass Effect 3\Binaries\Win32\Core
6. Make a backup copy of your AWC.dll and EACore.dll files
7. Move downloaded awc.dll and EACore.dll files from your desktop into the directory listed above.
8. Now run Origin and launch your game from Origin.

If you're game crashes randomly on the game's launch, ensure or try the following:

* Origins EA disable in-game.
* Update your video driver nVidia / ATI.
* Turn off SLI / Crossfire then start the game.
* Turn off your anti-virus software before launching the game.
* Try using a single GPU first
* Try running the game in windowed mode (often working for low-end PCs)
* Disable anti-aliasing filters and
* Turn off V-sync
* Disable background applications and disable anti-virus software
* Right-click on the Mass Effect 3 exe file, go to the 'compatibility mode' and select 'Disable desktop composition'

Hello even I have faced this issue and I have gone through the lots of steps to solve this issue and finally Clicking 'repair install' in Origin seems to have fixed my problems. make sure your system meet the game minimum system requirement. if your system doesn't meet minimum system requirement then you will get this issue and to solve this issue you should upgrade your system as per the game requirement:

Minimum system requirement of the Mass effect 3 is

Windows XP SP3 ,Vista SP1, Win 7 - OS
NVIDIA 7900 or better, ATI X1800 or better – video cards
1.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo - CPU
2GB for windows Vista/Win 7 and 1GB for window XP –RAM
15 GB - Hard disk space

Recommended requirement of the Mass effect 3 is

Windows XP SP3 ,Vista SP1, Win 7 – OS
ATI HD 4850 512 MB or higher, NVidia 9800 GT 512 MB or higher - video cards
2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo – CPU
2GB for windows Vista/Win 7 and 1GB for window XP –RAM

nah man. you're all wrong. just login to your origin account, right click on the game, and do a "repair install". i had the same problem. corrupt files. chill yoz
