No Modding in The Darkness 2 game
I have played the Darkness 2 demo game and I have found that there is No Modding in The Darkness 2 demo game. I have found that files were locked into their specific packets and this doesn’t allow me to change anything. So can we able to mod in this game…

As I know there few games which allow Modding. We can Mod if we are able to create custom map. I think The Darkness II is pretty much a console game and I would like to play without Modding. So it shouldn't be amazing that there isn't any Modding.

All custom maps are a mod but every mod doesn’t have custom map. Clearly developers won’t offer you their own developer tools to create maps. As I know there are few games which allow you to creation of custom maps, in fact I can only consider one that offered with map creation tools, for e.g. Starcraft 2, while a related tool will be supplementary in Skyrim in a week or so.

The custom maps are only offered through some advance developer tools. While mods are like improving textures and adding random triggers to previously obtainable structures and modifying attributes of your character or simple game mechanics, like pistol shoot lasers. Most of the time the mod is forbidden in multiplayer game.
