Particle effects in Ridge Racer Unbounded makes meshes fly on over screen
Last night while playing Ridge Racer Unbounded on my computer, I noticed that any small particle effect would lead to generation of other particles and disturbance of meshes all over the screen. I use Nvidia GeForce GT 440 as my graphic card, have 4 GB DDR3 RAM and use Windows XP as my operating system. The hardware is proper according to what it was mentioned on the manual of the game. Can someone tell why this is happening, I can’t figure out any way to solve this problem?

Re: Particle effects in Ridge Racer Unbounded makes meshes fly on over screen
Though many time a gamer fulfills all the criteria specified by the developers required for smooth running of game, the game doesn’t run well. The developers specify the requirements needed to run the game on medium settings. To play the game on higher level of graphic settings, then you should have way better hardware than the one mentioned in the manual. You must be trying to run the game in higher settings than your hardware can handle. Try reducing the features like Anti-aliasing and texture quality. This will reduce the graphical glitches occurring in your system. Also update the graphic drivers if you haven’t updated them. This game requires very high end hardware to be played in full graphic settings. So, according to the hardware specifications you have mentioned, try running Ridge Racer Unbounded in lower graphic settings. Reducing the graphic settings to low will also reduce the amount of particle effects generated. Less the particle effects in a scene, less will the amount of glitches. Also remember that games nowadays are very much developed. Don’t expect them to perform well in Windows XP. Games like Ridge Racer Unbounded are best played in Windows 7.
