Ruthless violence in Prototype 2 bad for mental health
I just watched the trailer of Prototype 2 and the level of violence seems extremely high in this game. I saw bodies being ripped into pieces and body parts being ripped out and dismembered. Even the visuals of civilians being consumed seemed high on violence. Isn’t it wrong that people play such games as it might affect their minds? These games are easily accessible to kids, viewing such high level of violence can affect their minds and they might tend to show violent behavior such bullying or being short tempered. I think that such games shouldn’t be allowed to be launched in a market. What do other people think about this?

Re: Ruthless violence in Prototype 2 bad for mental health
The developers have mentioned that this game is meant for children of age above 16. According to the rating the level of violence is enough for a person above age of 16 to handle. A person who can play this game must have enough IQ and mentality to know what’s wrong and what’s right. The violence that is seen in the game is animated and it is treated as a visual art. It shows that how developed the technology so that it can develop fluid like content. Also the game is a fantasy type of game. If you think that Prototype is violent, then what will you think about Manhunt 2 and Dead Island. They actually allow player to slit enemy’s throat and you can see blood flowing out of their throat. In Dead Island you can dismember parts of your enemy and break them into pieces. The blood actually sticks on the weapon and body of the player.
