Why I am having laggy gameplay in Star Wars The Old Republic?
as the title of this particular thread is saying what issue I am suffering from. I have installed Star Wars The Old Republic on the computer of mine. after playing the game for first thirty minutes I got quite bad experience of the gameplay. The entire gameplay is quite laggy and I am frustrated. I really wanted t play the above mentioned game but I am not able to do the same. any help on this particular matter will be highly appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance.

Looking at the situation you have to answer following question.
Which operating systems do you running?
What is the hardware configuration of the computer?
Do you have done any changes on the computer?
Which graphic cards do you using and what is the version of the graphic card driver do you have installed?

I recommend that you should verify the integrity of the game cache and see what results do you getting.

* You have to launch the Steam on the computer and go for the Library section.
* In the Library section you have to right click on the game and click on the Properties.
* From the Properties menu you have to click on the Local Files tab and after that click on the Verify the integrity of the game cache.

After understanding the situation of yours I am suggesting following solution which you can try to fix the matter or not. You have to launch Task Manager on the computer and go for Process and choose the exe file of the game. there you have to set up the priority above normal or higher . you have to perform above mentioned thing every time in the game.

Well I am highly suspecting that there could be an issue with the back ground process which are running on the computer. so you should perform Clean boot on the computer and see whether you are able to get the appropriate results.

I am posting below couple of solution which will help you out to fix the matter of yours.

* You should disable the Vsync as well as antialiasing on the game.
* Second thing which you can do is to turn off the hardware acceleration on the computer.
* Finally you should enable force tripple buffering and vsync on D3DOverrider from the Nvidia Control Panel.

If you have installed any antivirus program on the computer than disable the same and see whether it is making difference into the situation.

Video games are having bug issue and hence I am suggesting that you should contact the developer of the game and file a bug report to them including the system configuration and the issue which you are facing.
