Call of Juarez: The Cartel wont start even after clicking CoJ_TheCartel.exe
Yesterday morning I have installed Call of Juarez: The Cartel on the computer of mine. Well I have found that the game did not seems to be launching when I have clicked on the CoJ_TheCartel.exe. I don’t know why the above mentioned issue is happening into the situation of mine. I am waiting for the prompt replies of yours on this particular matter. thanks a lot in advance.

Looking at the matter you have to answer the following the questions.
Which operating system do you running? What is the hardware configuration of the computer? do you have installed all the necessary drivers as well as DirectX on the computer? Let me know if you are having any other information which will help me out to figure out the root cause of the issue.

Do you have tried to launch the game as Administrator of the computer? if not than you should look for the exe file of the game and right click on the same. from the right click menu you have to click on the Run as Administrator.

There could be compatibility issue with the game and operating system which you have installed on the computer. Well what I am suggesting that you should right click on the exe file of the game and then you should simply go for Properties from the right click menu. Now you have to click on the compatibility tab and then you should click on the Run this program in compatibility mode for and you have to choose the appropriate option from the drop down box. Now you have to click on Apply button and click Ok button.

You should try to verify the integrity of the game cache by using the following steps.

1. You have to load Steam on the computer.
2. Now go for the Library section and right click on the same , click on Properties.
3. You have to click on the Local files tab and you have to click on Verify the integrity of the game cache.

Well looking at the matter I am suggesting that there could be an issue with the user profile which you are having on the computer. You should create a new user profile and use the same to play the game. if issue is resolved you should the new one and delete the old user profile from the computer.

I am not sure but there could be an issue with the game launcher on the computer of yours. Well what I am suggesting that you should simply reinstall the game launcher.

Do you have reinstalled the graphic card drivers on the computer? You should reinstalled the graphic card drivers on the computer. If it is not working for you than I am suggesting that you should simply visit the official website of the graphic card manufacturer. Once you have downloaded the drivers you should installed the same. after completing with the installation you should reboot the computer of yours.

I think you need to install the latest version of the DirectX on the computer of yours. you can get the same from the official website.

Well according to me there could be corruption of the game file on the computer. so to resolve the same you should simply reinstall the game. you should redownload the game from the Steam and install it on the computer. after completing with process you should try to play the game.

Well there could be bug issue associated with the game and hence I am suggesting that you should contact the developer of the game and file a bug report to them. Now question is what is bug report? Well in bug report you have to provide the information which has been associated with the computer which you are having any issue and what issue you are getting into the code of the game. they will work around on the issue which you are getting and they will release the patch which you can apply to fix the matter of yours.
