The Darkness II crashes with purple ring on screen while launching
I have installed The Darkness II on the computer of mine. whenever I am trying to launch the game on Steam and getting purple ring. After that simply game is getting crashed. I searched on the Google to get the proper solution but I was not able to get anything which will help me to fix the problem of mine. any help on this particular matter will be appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance.

After going through the problem I am suggesting following thing which will be helpful to resolve the issue.

* You should launch Nvidia Control Panel.
* Now go for game options and turn off Anti-Aliasing.
* Also you should change global settings to ‘Let the application decide’

I recommend to verify the integrity of the game cache on Steam.

You should launch Steam and go for Library of Steam.

Right click on game and select Properties.

Here click Local Files tab and click on Verify the integrity of the game cache.

In this particular situation you should take care of the thing that you have downloaded and install the latest version of graphic card driver and DirectX on your computer. you can get the same from the official website. After installing above mentioned software’s you must restart your computer.
