Hey Guys!
I am using BSNL broadband connection on my one computer. I have three more computers in my brothers' room. How can i share the connection between all the connections? I have a ADSL modem. It takes input from the phone line and gives out two output 1- USB and 2-Ethernet... I can connect two computers but how do i connect more then two computers to it?
Help guys!

Hey!
Do you assign the ip address manually or the modem acts as a DHCP server? Need this info to help you out...! Because there are some modems they don't act as a dhcp modem to ensure security... But if your modem assigns IP to your computer the procedure will be too easy...!

Hey!
Do this : You will need to buy a ethernet switch. Once you have a switch Connect the ethernet cable that comes from the modem to any of the port of the switch. Connect the computers with a ethernet cable to the swicth and all your computers are live on the internet...! All the best...!

Hey!
Yeah that is right...! Incase the internet doean't work on other computers Do this: Go to the first computer where the internet was working. Note down its IP address, subnet mask, gateway primary DNS and secondary DNS. Now enter the same details on all the computers. But just change the IP address's last field to any number not greater then 254. All the best...!
