Internet connection not working on internet explorer
Hello everyone
My Internet explorer having some problems.it is not working even though am connected to the networks… IE leaves error message that"Internet Explorer cannot display the web page" no proxy server is activated, I Re installed IE but to no avail. am able to chat on my yahoo messenger so what's wrong looking for a solution..what to do? do i need to change any settings?

The issue can be caused by the third party firewall.your anti virus all you need to is adjust the firewall setting.

Do you have any third party firewalls, like McAfee, Norton, Zone Alarm,i think it may be conflicting with your machien
*check the firewall setting

*did you try using System Restore to go back to a time when everything worked?

*Try a good third party firewall software.

Sounds like Virus and Spywares killed the settings on your desktop
Follow these steps to solve it:
Get the WinsockFix Utility and run the setup files.
Locate Control Panel>network connections> right click the LAN connection and click properties after rebooting your computer click "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) on the general tab and re fill the details save it and open your internet explorer to browse

Ok,when i had a problem like this before what i did is that I went to network connections.Right clicked Local Area Connection in order to see the status, on support tab I clicked to repair my internet explorer after the process i was able to browse with the explorer. you can also do this and see any thing happens.
