please check the correct Mail Client settings:
1.please check for your Incoming mail server (POP3/IMAP server): mail.yourdomain.com
2.check for Outgoing mail server (SMTP server): mail.yourdomain.com
3.check Username you entered: the full e-mail address like email@yourdomain.com
4.SMTP authentication must be enabled for the login to be successful.
Also keep in Mind that, do not use secure authentication to your mail server.

It seems that you have overlooked authentication:
Go to Outlook Express, Tools, Accounts, Mail Tab, highlight your mail account then Properties, Servers Tab and put a tick in “My server requires authentication”. Close and restart Outlook Express.

The most common mistake happens where we leave "My SMTP server requires authentication checkbox" unchecked. This option should always be enabled, Please find below how to enable the SMTP authentication for your Outlook express mail client:
From the Tools menu select Accounts. The Internet Accounts box appears. Select the Mail tab. Your email account appears. Select the appropriate email account by clicking on its name and click the Properties button on the right. Then under the Outgoing Mail Server section check the box My server requires authentication. Do NOT check the box next to Log on using Secure Password Authentication.
Also check for connection to port 25.
If any problem related to port 25 please feel free to ask.
