Received Unreadable Mail in Outlook
Hello everybody,
I need your Help to a problem that I encounter on Outlook. So I have a pc with Vista / Outlook 2003 / Avast / Yahoo messenger . I get some strange encoded mails, I did search a lot on the internet, I really can not find the solution. The problem is of course random, otherwise it would be too simple I looked all the settings in Outlook, but impossible to find something that can help
Here is an example of a piece of mail:

Re: Received Unreadable Mail in Outlook
Hello , It is an Outlook - Vista problem and there is no setting on your machine that is going to fix it. It only occurs when all the recipients are in the BCC field.

Well, basically we want to see what it looks like. It is possible that in the code there are "indications". I actually look for a corrupt file. But if the phenomenon is random it may be fun to find the "guilty". and Finally all you are seeing is the header which is normally hidden, turn that off under options Hope it Help You

Re: Received Unreadable Mail in Outlook
Hello , This indicates that something between you and your customer is interfering with the correct interpretation of the messsage headers. Since others receive the message properly, I'd first suspect the recipient's PC has a program that is interfering, with the most likely culprit being an antivirus scanner checking incoming messages.

Re: Received Unreadable Mail in Outlook
Hello , Apparently there is a glitch in Outlook on Vista hen you receive an email in HTML to undisclosed recipients, and is will not "decode"(?). Only answers I have found are:
Microsoft is looking into it.
Get new email software (eg Mozilla Thunderbird).

Re: Received Unreadable Mail in Outlook
When you open a message in Outlook, you see characters that are unreadable. for that problem The sender used an e-mail program that did not mark the message with a language encoding (character set).To read the message, you can set the encoding in Outlook that will display the correct characters.
The following procedure applies only to e-mail messages in HTML or plain text format.
Open the e-mail message that you want to read.
On the View menu, point to Encoding, and then click the encoding that you want to use.
After you finish reading the message, close the message, and then click Yes to save the changes.
