Starting game with Argon Peacekeeper in X3.Albion.Prelude does not allow me to use any weapon.
I have recently bought this game called X3 Albion Prelude and when I am starting a new with the Argon Peacekeeper then the nova Prototype is not allowing me to use any weapons but then when I am starting the game as the Terran Commander then I am able to use the weapons I need. Is there anyone who has faced the same and has an idea about it and can help me out as well? Any suggestion regarding the same will be appreciated.

I think that you might have installed some fake patch for the Terran Commander and the same might be affecting the Argon Peacekeeper, I think so but then I am not that sure about the same. If you are having the same case then I think that you will have to reinstall the game. Just check it out and then let me know if you are able to use the weapons in the Argon Peacekeeper or not.

Yes I had the same case but then now I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game again but then I am still getting the same problem, I mean I am not able to fire from any weapons in the Nova Prototype. I done the UN-installation and the re-installation process several time but then it is not making any difference. Is there any other thing that I can try out?? Is it a common issue or so??

I am having the exact problem with the Nova Prototype in the X3 Albion Prelude, I thought that there might be some settings that I will have to change but then I did not found anything like that. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the game and it did not help. I have been looking in to a no of forum but then I did not found any solution for this issue, may be because this issue is with very less people but then I really want to solve this out somehow, If anyone is having an idea about this then please share it here, it will be highly appreciated.

I don’t think that it is some kind of common issue because I have found only a few of them facing such problems with the X3 Albion Prelude. I have found the cause for the same with them was badly-installed mod overwriting/replacing the important game files and so but then if you are saying that you have UN-installed the game and re-installed the game again then I don’t think that you should face such problem again because after reinstalling the game verify game files cache' tool check comes up clean. So there should not be any problem at all, I think that there is something else going wrong, I will search for the same and will post it here as I get.

Even I was having the same problem and I was also trying out the same workaround but then I had found that even though the Verify Game Cache is said to come up clean but then I have found that when I started the game then I found that it had came up with the Xtended. I found that the 14 15 & 16 Security Catalog as well as the 14 15 & 16.DAT were left uninstalled and they were not really getting uninstalled even though I had tried the uninstalling process a no of times. Later I just removed them from the folders and now I am not having the same problem and the game is just working great. I think that you might be having the same case. So just check it out if you are still having the 14 15 & 16 Security Catalog as well as the 14 15 & 16.DAT in your system or not. Best of luck.

I think that you are right because even I have found that the normal method uninstalling the game is not capable of removing all the files initially and the other files that are added later on after the installation of the game. I have been using revouninstaller in my case so I have not yet faced any such problem, if you all want then you can definitely try to use the same and avoid such future problem as well.

Hey I am really thankful to you for sharing those files here, even I was having them in the game folder but then now I have deleted them as well and I have reinstalled the game and I am not having the same problem anymore. Thanks for suggesting me revouninstaller as well I will stick to it as soon as possible.
